Lord, for thy mercies' sake in the same thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.

A Thanksgiving.

ALMIGHTY God, Father of all mercies, I

thy unworthy servant do give thee most humble and hearty thanks for all thy goodness and loving-kindness to me and to all mankind. I bless thee for my creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life; and for all thy servants, departed this life in thy faith and fear; beseeching thee to give me grace so to follow their good example, that with them I may be a partaker of thy kingdom; but above all, I bless thee for thine inestimable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ; for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory. And I beseech thee, give me that due sense of all thy mercies, that my heart may be unfeignedly thankful, and that I may show forth thy praise, not only with my lips, but in my life, by giving up myself to thy service, and by walking before thee in holiness and righteousness all my days, through Jesus Christ our Lord; to whom with thee and the Holy Ghost, be all honour and glory, world without end. Amen.
