BY J. TREADWELL WALDEN,
BECTOR OF CHRIST CHURCH, NORWICH, CONN.
Entered according to Act of Congress, in the year 1862, by
J. TREADWELL WALDEN, in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the District of Connecticut.

MIDDLETOWN, March 4, 1861. I HAVE examined, with a good deal of care, the SUNDAYSchool PRAYER-Book of the Rev. Mr. Walden. It seems to me eminently calculated to cultivate, in the young, liturgical tastes and habits, and to train them to enter early into an appreciation and practical use of the Book of Common Prayer, the spirit of which it has thoroughly imbibed. I am happy to anticipate for it a wide and growing usefulness; and give it very cordially my approval.
JNO. WILLIAMS, Assistant Bishop of Connecticut.
