FALSEHOOD AND DECEIT. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. Deu. 5.20. Mat. 19.18.

Ex. 23.1. Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

Lev. 6.3. Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein.

Lev. 19.11. Neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another. 12. Ye shall not swear by my name falsely. 16. Thou shalt not go up and down as a tale-bearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour. Ex. 20.7.
