14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

CHAP. II.

1 We ought to be obedient to Christ Jesus, 5 and that because he vouchsafed to take our nature upon him, 14 as it was necessary. THEREFORE we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard,2 * lest at any time we should let them slip.3

LUKE, Xiii. 32: I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. HEB. V. 8, 9: Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.

HEB. X. 10, 14: By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
