He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in

His bosom."

GREAT and kind God, Thou lovest me very much. Bless me to-day, and make me a good child. Fill my little heart with love to Thee, and everybody: for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

ENTLE Jesus, hear my prayer,
Make a little child Thy care;

Early may I look to Thee,

My Saviour and my Guide to be.

Suffer not my foot to stray
From Thy safe and happy way;
Thou hast lived and died for me,
Let me love and live to Thee.

III.

LMIGHTY God, the bright day is come. Help me to

remember it is Thy gift, and grant me grace to spend it in Thy fear. May Thy Holy Spirit shine on me; and make me pure, and kind, and true, in all I do and say. May I be watchful over my temper, and obedient to my parents in everything. Teach me to walk in the steps of Jesus, and strengthen me to resist sin and Satan. Hear and answer these my prayers, and bless us in our Home to-day for the sake of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord. Amen.
