The third district being all that part of the county of Third district. Essex which is now comprised within the boundaries of the Third, Ninth and Fourteenth wards of the city of Newark, together with that portion of the territory now embraced within the Thirteenth ward of said city of Newark, and within the following-described lines, to wit: beginning at a point in the middle of High street, opposite the easterly terminus of the center of Montgomery street; thence westerly, along the middle of Montgomery street, to a point therein opposite the center of Somerset street; thence southerly, along the middle of Somerset street, to a point in the middle of Avon avenue; thence easterly, along the middle of Avon avenue, to a point in the midle of Clinton avenue opposite the easterly terminus of the center line of Avon avenue; thence northeasterly, along the middle of Clinton avenue, to a point therein opposite the center of High street; thence northerly, along the middle of High street, to a point therein opposite the center of Montgomery street and the place of beginning;

The fourth district being all that part of the county of Fourth district. Essex which is now comprised within the boundary lines of the Second and Fourth wards of the city of Newark;

The fifth district being all that part of the county of Fifth district. Essex which is now comprised within the boundaries of the First and Fifteenth Wards of the city of Newark, together with that portion of the territory now embraced within the Seventh ward of said city of Newark, and within the following-described lines, to wit: beginning at a point in the middle of High street where the same is intersected by the center of Central avenue; thence westerly, along the middle of Central avenue, to a point therein opposite the center of Norfolk street; thence southerly, along the middle of Norfolk street, to the center of Bank street; thence easterly, along the middle of Bank street, to the center of High street; thence northerly, along the middle of High street, to a point therein opposite the center of Central avenue and the place of beginning;

The sixth district being all that part of the county of Sixth district. Essex now comprised within the boundary lines of the

Eighth and Eleventh wards of the city of Newark;

Seventh district.

Eighth district.

The seventh district being all that part of the county of Essex now comprised within the boundaries of the Sixth ward of the city of Newark, together with that portion of the present territory of the Seventh ward of the city of Newark, and embraced within the followingdescribed lines, to wit: beginning at a point in the middle of Bank street where the same is intersected by the center line of Morris avenue; thence northerly, along the middle of Morris avenue, to a point therein in the center of Central avenue; thence easterly, along the middle of Central avenue, to a point therein opposite the middle of Norfolk street; thence southerly, along the middle of Norfolk street, to a point where the same intersects the center of Bank street; thence westerly, along the middle of Bank street, to a point therein opposite the center of Morris avenue and the place of beginning;

The eighth district being all that part of the county of Essex which is comprised within the city of Newark and embraced within the following-described boundary lines: beginning in the middle of Springfield avenue where the same is intersected by the center line of High street; thence westerly, along the center of Springfield avenue, to where the same intersects the line of Clinton township; thence southwesterly and easterly, along the courses of the Clinton township line, until the said line strikes the westerly boundary line of the Fourteenth ward of the city of Newark, at or near Chadwick avenue; thence northerly, along said boundary line, to a point in the center of Avon avenue; thence easterly, along the middle of Avon avenue, or the present boundary line between the Thirteenth and Fourteenth wards of the city of Newark, to a point therein opposite the center of Somerset street; thence northerly, along the middle of Somerset street, to a point therein where the same is intersected by the center line of Montgomery street; thence easterly, along the middle of Montgomery street, to a point in the center of High street opposite the easterly terminus of the center line of Montgomery street; thence northerly, along the middle of High street, to where the same intersects the center of Springfield avenue and place of beginning;

The ninth district being all that part of the county of Ninth district. Essex which is now comprised within the boundary lines

of the city of Orange and the townships of South Orange,

West Orange and Clinton;

The tenth district being all that part of the county of Tenth district. Essex which is now comprised within the boundary lines of the townships of East Orange, Bloomfield, Belleville, Franklin, Montclair, Caldwell, Livingston and Millburn.

8. And be it enacted, That the county of Gloucester shall Gloucester. constitute one assembly district.

9. And be it enacted, That the county of Hudson shall Hudson. constitute ten assembly districts:

The first district to be composed of all that part of First district. Jersey City beginning at the center of the Hudson river where it is intersected by the continuation of the center line of Morris street, in Jersey City; thence westerly, along the said center line of Morris street, to where the same intersects the center line of Washington street; thence northerly, along the center line of Washington street, to where it is intersected by the center line of Sussex street; thence westerly, along the center line of Sussex street, to where the same intersects the center line of Warren street; thence northerly, along the center line of Warren street, to the center line of Grand street; thence westerly, along the center line of Grand street, to the center line of Grove street; thence northerly, along the center line of Grove street, to the center line of Bright street; thence westerly, along the center line of Bright street, to the center line of Barrow street; thence northerly, along the center line of Barrow street, to the center line of Newark avenue; thence southerly and easterly, along the center line of Newark avenue, to the center line of Railroad avenue; thence southeasterly, along the center line of Railroad avenue, to the center line of Henderson street; thence northerly, along the center line of Henderson street, to the center line of Fourth street; thence easterly, along the center line of Fourth street extended, to the center line of the Hudson river; thence southerly, along the center line of the Hudson river, to the place of beginning;

The second district to be composed of all that part of Second district. Jersey City beginning at the center of the Hudson river

where it is intersected by the center line of said Morris street extended; thence westerly, along the said center line of Morris street, to where the same intersects the center line of Washington street; thence northerly, along the center line of Washington street, to where it is intersected by the center line of Sussex street; thence westerly, along the center line of Sussex street, to where the same intersects the center line of Warren street; thence northerly, along the center line of Warren street, to the center line of Grand street; thence westerly, along the center line of Grand street, to the center line of Grove street; thence northerly, along the center line of Grove street, to the center line of Bright street; thence westerly, along the center line of Bright street, to the center line of Barrow street; thence northerly, along the center line of Barrow street, to the center line of Railroad avenue; thence westerly, along the center line of Railroad avenue extended, to the center line of Cornelison avenue; thence southwesterly, along the center line of Cornelison avenue, to the center line of Summit avenue; thence southerly, along the center line of Summit avenue, to the center line of Communipaw avenue; thence southeasterly, along the center line of Communipaw avenue, to the center line of the Morris canal; thence southwesterly, along the center line of Morris canal, to the center line of Carteret avenue, situated east of the Morris canal; thence southeasterly, along said easterly extension of Carteret avenue and along the line thereof extended, to the center of the New York bay; thence northerly, along the center line of New York bay and the Hudson river, to the place of beginning;

The third district to be composed of all that part of Jersey City beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Railroad avenue and Henderson street, in Jersey City; thence northerly, along the center line of Henderson street, to the center line of Pavonia avenue; thence westerly, along the center line of Pavonia avenue, to the center line of Grove street; thence southerly, along the center line of Grove street, to the center line of Eighth street; thence westerly, along the center line of Eighth street, to the center line of Division street; thence southerly, along the center line of Division street, to the

center line of Newark avenue; thence southeasterly, along the center line of Newark avenue, to the center line of Brunswick street; thence southerly, along the center line of Brunswick street, to the center line of Third street; thence westerly, along the center line of Third street, to the center line of Colgate street; thence southerly, along the center line of Colgate street, to the center line of Railroad avenue; thence easterly, along the center line of Railroad avenue, to the center line of Barrow street; thence northerly, along the center line of Barrow street, to the center line of Newark avenue; thence southeasterly, along the center line of Newark avenue, to the center line of Railroad avenue; thence southeasterly, along the center line of Railroad avenue, to the place of beginning;

The fourth district to be composed of all that part of Fourth district. Jersey City beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Penhorn creek and Manhattan avenue extended, in Jersey City; and running thence easterly, along the center line of Manhattan avenue, to the center line of Tonnelle avenue; thence southerly, along the center line of Tonnelle avenue, to the center line of Spruce street; thence easterly, along center line of Spruce street, to the center line of Collard street; thence southerly, along the center line of Collard street, to the center line of Hicks street; thence easterly, along the center line of Hicks street and Laidlaw avenue, to the center line of Oakland avenue; thence southerly, along center line of Oakland avenue, to the center line of Hopkins avenue; thence easterly, along center line of Hopkins avenue, to the center line of Palisade avenue; thence southerly, along the center line of Palisade avenue, to the center line of Hoboken avenue; thence southerly, easterly and northerly, along the center line of Hoboken avenue, as said avenue runs, to the westerly boundary line of the city of Hoboken; thence northerly, northeasterly, westerly and southerly, along the several boundary lines of the city of Jersey City, to the place of beginning;

The fifth district to be composed of all that part of Fifth district. Jersey City beginning at the point where the center line of Newark avenue intersects the westerly boundary line of Jersey City; thence easterly, along the center line of
