      After listening to an ancient legend about a long lost Indian carving, 12-year-old Sausha Springer, her best friend, Jessica, and her little sister, Chloe, decide to search for the ancient piece of art. Soon, however, the girls find themselves lost in the heart of nature's majestic and captivating fury! Alone and afraid, they encounter a variety of dangerous obstacles and must learn to rely on God for guidance and for strength. Will they succeed, or will they give up hope?      Melissa Arnold is 16 years of age and grew up in Canton, Pennsylvania. Even as a young child, she has always had a deep passion for writing and expressing her feelings through words. Melissa’s dream is to continue writing storybooks and to reach out to others through her talent. She plans on attending college to major in the English Department and minor in Creative Writing. Other hobbies she enjoys include reading the Bible, playing piano, animals, hiking, and reading. At home, Melissa owns a lizard, a Shetland Sheepdog named Baby (whom she loves to pieces!), a hamster, and a guinea pig. “God has blessed and worked through me in so many ways,” she states. “I owe my gratitude and thanks to Him!”
