They will be introduced by Ray White, the executive director of the committee. Good morning. STATEMENT OF KENNETH D. VANDERHOEF, PRESIDENT, NATIONAL RIGHT TO LIFE COMMITTEE, INC., ACCOMPANIED BY RAY L. WHITE, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, NATIONAL RIGHT TO LIFE COMMITTEE, INC. Mr. WHITE. Good morning, Mr. Chairman. My name is Ray L. White. I am executive director of the National Right to Life Committee. The executive offices are located at 1200 15th Street, here in Washington. It is my privilege this morning to introduce to the committee Kenneth VanDerhoef, who is the chief administrative officer and president of the National Right to Life Committee, Inc. Dr. Mildred Jefferson, chairman of the board, is arriving by airplane-it has been delayed-and so she should be here very shortly. At the conclusion of Mr. VanDerhoef's testimony, he will introduce Dr. Jefferson. Kenneth VanDerhoef is married, has four children, ages 9 to 15. He has a B.A. degree from the University of Gonzaga in Spokane, Wash. He has done graduate study at the University of Washington and the University of Oregon. His law degree was obtained from the University of Gonzaga Law School. After graduation from law school, Mr. VanDerhoef was with the King County prosecuting attorney's office. He was also assistant attorney general in the State of Washington, the attorney general's office. |
