Sir James Martin, Knt., Chief Justice, died.-(See APPENDIX). On the 15th November, 1886, the Hon. Julian Emanuel Salomons, Esq., Q.C., was appointed Chief Justice. On the 27th November, 1886, the Hon. Julian Emanuel Salomons, Esq., resigned his office as Chief Justice. On the 29th November, 1886, the Hon. Frederick Matthew Darley, Q.C., was appointed Chief Justice, and took the usual oaths and his seat on the Bench on the 7th December, 1886.— (See APPENDIX). * In December, 1886, the Hon.
