He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.

THY word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

MOVABLE FEASTS.

Easter Day is always the first Sunday after the full moon which happens upon or next after the twenty-first day of March; and if the full moon happen upon a Sunday, Easter Day is the Sunday after.

Advent Sunday is always the nearest Sunday to the Feast of St. Andrew, whether before or after.

Septuagesima Sunday is nine weeks before Easter.

Ash Wednesday, the fortieth day before Easter.

Good Friday, two days before Easter.

The forty days of Lent.

The Ember days the four seasons, being the Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday after the first Sunday in Lent, after the Feast of Pentecost, after September 14th, and after December 13th.

Rogation Days, being Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday before Holy Thursday or Ascension.

All the Fridays in the year, except Christmas day.
