The action of the Major General Commanding the Department of the Tennessee, under date of March 26, 1863, dismissing from the service of the United States Captain Mathew Lenard, 90th Regiment Illinois Volunteers, is approved.

The Department of West Virginia will include all of the State of Maryland west of the Monocacy river, including that part of Virginia in the vicinity of Harper's Ferry.

The exigencies under which one hundred thousand militia for six months' service, from the States of Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia, were called out by the President's Proclamation of June 15, 1863, having passed, it is hereby ordered by the President, that on and after the promulgation of this order, no more enlistments under the said call shall be made.
