K is made by an I and two other I's on the right hand, drawn from the middle, one to the top and one to the bottom. K begins Kiss, Knit, and Knot.

Two I's, and one drawn from the left hand at the top to the right hand at the bottom, make N, which helps to spell Nap, Nut, and Nose.

M

Two I's, and two more drawn between them from the tops and close at the bottom, make M, which helps to spell Mite, Mark, and Manfred.

That is O. Every little child can make a circle, and a circle is O. O begins Ox, Oats, and Oil.

Q

O, with a short I drawn through the bottom of it, makes Q, which begins Quay, Queer, and Quince.

O, with a piece left out on the right hand side, is C. C begins Cot, Cat, and Cowl.
