Wait on the Lord, ye trembling saints, He'll raise your spirit when it faints, 18. God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Cor. x. 13. 1. Happy is the man whom God correcteth; therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty. Job v. 17. 1. Because it is deserved.-2. Because it is administered in love.-3.
