The beloved children's classic by Eleanor H. Porter in a beautiful paperback edition. Pollyanna, an orphan, is the epitome of optimism, always able to find the silver lining in any situation in life. Through this "game" she learned from her late father, she brings love and light into the lives of all those she encounters. When Pollyanna finds herself in a difficult situation, her resolve to be eternally optimistic is put to the test. Pair this uplifting classic with others featuring strong young female protagonists such as A Little Princess and The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and Heidi by Johanna Spyri. Poetose Press is committed to publishing texts with a deep awareness of and sensitivity to its diverse readers. Avoid editions of Pollyanna work that use language that could be hurtful to those reading it.
