Senate Bill No. 23, entitled "An act to amend an act entitled 'An act for the incorporation of associations to encourage the purchase of homes and to facilitate the payment therefor,' approved March twenty-third, one thousand eight hundred and eight,"

Was taken up on third reading.

Mr. Case asked unanimous consent to amend said bill on third reading.

Which was agreed to.

Mr. Case offered the following amendments, which were read and adopted:

Amend title-insert word "eighty" before word "eight", line 6.

Amend body-add to line 10 "the location of the principal office of the association and the name of the agent in charge thereof, upon whom legal process may be served;" line 14, after word "recorded" insert the following: "in the county clerk's office of the county where the principal office is to be located and recorded and filed".

Said bill, as amended, was then read a third time.

Upon the question, "Shall this Senate bill pass?" it was decided as follows:

Senate Bill No. 20, entitled "An act to amend an act entitled 'Supplement to an act entitled "An act to regulate elections," approved April fourth, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight,' which supplement was approved April nineteenth, nineteen hundred and eleven," approved April fourteenth, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen,

Was taken up on third reading.

Mr. Case asked unanimous consent to amend said bill on third reading.

Which was agreed to.

Mr. Case offered the following amendments, which were read and adopted:

Line 9, cancel word "municipal" in two places and substitute "county".

Line 10, cancel present line 10 and substitute "canvass the votes as stated in said statements".

Line 13, cancel "municipal clerks" and substitute "boards of registry and election".

Line 17, cancel so much of the line as follows the word "days" and substitute "after the said canvass has been completed."

Line 21, cancel the words "receipt thereof" and substitute "the returns have been canvassed".

Strike out all of line 9 after the word "shall".

Said bill, as amended, was then read a third time.

Upon the question, "Shall this Senate bill pass?" it was decided as follows:
