Resolved, That the said commission be requested to sit at such times and places as a majority may decide, and that in order to carry out the provisions of this resolution, all departments of the State Government are hereby requested to render such assistance to the Commission as may be practical.

Resolved, That when the Senate adjourn it be to meet on Wednesday morning, at 11 o'clock, and that when it then adjourn it be to meet on Friday morning, at 11 o'clock, and that when it then adjourn it be to meet on Monday evening, at 8 o'clock.

Senate Bill No. 29, entitled "An act to amend an act entitled 'An act to provide for the permanent improvement and maintenance of public roads in this State (Revision of 1912),'

Mr. Case offered the following resolution, which was read and adopted:

WHEREAS, Divine Providence has seen fit to remove from the happy family circle of our President a son of very tender years; and

WHEREAS, In this his hour of sorrow we feel in deep and tender sympathy the irreparable loss sustained by him, and which is only assuaged by the words of the Master, "Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven"; now, therefore, in this dark hour, be it Resolved, That the Senate do hereby extend to our bereaved President our sincere heartfelt sympathy; and be it further

Resolved, That this resolution be entered in the Journal of the Senate and a copy thereof be forwarded by the Secretary to the President of the Senate.

On motion of Mr. Case, the Senate then adjourned.
