It is further requested that a contingent appropriation be made of $135,000.00 to provide plant and equipment for new indus

tries. It is now contemplated that a school furniture industry should be established at the prison (requiring $35,000)
and a plant at Annandale for furnishing ground limestone to farmers (requiring $100,000). Definite plans have not, how-
ever, been perfected, so that final appropriation of these amounts cannot be asked. It is therefore requested that a fund
of $135,000.00 be appropriated to the State House Commission to be applied by such Commission for the establishment
of these industries, if in their judgment the final plans to be presented by the Department of Charities and Corrections
should warrant it.
