In conformity with the requirements of the Constitution of the State of Michigan, for the assembling of the Legislature of said State, on this day, at 11 o'clock A. M., the Senate thereof convened in the Senate Chamber, in the Capitol of said State, and was called to order by Hon. Charles S. May, Lieutenant Governor, and President of the Senate. The roll having been called by William A. Bryce, Secretary of the last Senate the following named Senators elect answered, severally presented themselves, subscribed the constitutional oath of office, and took their seats as Senators: From the 1st District-William Adair. |
