Holy Spirit here, in this life, which will be their support and comfort in old age; and then they may expect that God will be the strength of their hearts, and their portion for ever and may God, of his infinite mercy, bless these few hints to every reader, that, after the night of death is over, they may enjoy a never ending day of tranquility and bliss, "in his presence where there is fullness of joy, and at his right hand where there are pleasures for evermore."

WHO HAD BEEN

EDUCATED IN A SUNDAY-SCHOOL.

IN the pleasant month of May, when the flowers adorn the fields, and the lambs are sporting by the side of their dams, and the fields appear in the greatest beauty, Miss Neville paid a visit to a friend in the country, who lived a short distance from the sea. While she was there, with Mr. and Mrs. Howard, she was highly delighted with the decent behaviour of the children in the neighbourhood; and she often remarked to her friends, what a great change had taken place since she knew the village.
