The whole Code (except sections 1 and 3) has been extended under s. 5 of the Scheduled Districts Act, 1874, to the following Scheduled Districts: II. In addition to the above extensions under the Scheduled Districts Aden and Perim (subject to modifications)—by Act II of 1864, s. 16 and s. 3 of the the Andaman and Nicobar Islands (with certain modifications noted infra)-by Reg. III the Town of Mandalay (part of the Scheduled District of Upper Burma)—by_Act_XX of 1886, s. 6, and Sch. II, Part II. Ss. 1 and 3 extended to the whole of British India and consequently to all scheduled districts which are not de-regulationised. bb The matters referred to in these sections are provided for in the Jhansi Courts Act, XVIII of 1867.
