The College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts has been removed from Columbla to Fort Hill, but owing to the failure on the part of the legislature to make an appropriation sufficient to complete the buildings, the college has not as yet been opened.

The regular courses of study are ten: The college classical course, requiring four years and leading to the degree of B. The college work includes five distinctive lines of instruction: Course in agriculture, course in domestic arts, course in mechanic arts, course in civil engineering, business course, four special courses, two years' course in agriculture, two years'

course in domestic arts, course in mining engineering, irrigation engineering, and a preparatory department. In addition to these special courses there have been organized two courses of winter lectures covering ten weeks each: A course of agricul tural lectures and a course of lectures for the domestic arts department. The courses in mechanical and in mining and irrigation engineering will be post graduate courses of one year each.
