There shall be prefixed to each volume of laws hereafter published the names and residence of the several State Officers, the Senators, and Members of the Assembly, and the Presiding Officers, and Clerks of both branches of the Legislature, at the time of the passage of such laws."-General Laws 1854, Chapter 94.

William A. Barstow resigned the office of Governor, on the twenty-first day of March, when its duties were assumed by Arthur McArthur, Lieut. Governor, who acted until the twenty-fifth day of March, on which day Coles Bashford entered upon the duties of the office.
