Dear Brethren,

WILL not say of this author as Claudius Lysias faid of Paul, That he was taken of the Jews, and would have been killed of them, if he had not come with an army and rescued him, but this I will fay, that he has left behind him so good a report through faith, that many in our days would have judged it their wisdom to have left it in the ruins of the house, or confined it to the moles and to the bats, rather than revise a teftimony that difcovers their foundation even to the neck.
