But why the voice of love should make heaven drowy, I do not rightly understand. It may very naturally be supposed to have a totally different effect. We fhould furely read, "And, when Love fpeaks, the voice of all the gods "Wakes drowsy heaven with the harmony." i.. Heaven inftantly becomes enlivened by it-all at once is harmony.
