The ballots to be used at said election shall be in the form of form prescribed by The Commissioners of Rehoboth, who shall prepare and have them printed. On the day of election the Secretary, or one of the Commissioners designated by the President of The Commissioners for that purpose, shall sit at the usual place of meeting of The Commissioners in the Town of Rehoboth from ten o'clock in the morning until twelve o'clock noon, and deliver, upon application, said ballots to those entitled to vote at said election. Section 5. That the faith of the said Town of Rehoboth is hereby pledged for the payment of the bonds authorized to be issued under the provisions of this Act.

AN ACT Authorizing the Commissioners of Rehoboth to Levy a

special Tax for the Support of the Water Works System in the Town of Rehoboth.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met, (two-thirds of the members of each branch thereof concurring therein):

Section 1. That the Commissioners of Rehoboth are commissioners authorized and required to levy upon all the assessable authorized to real estate and the improvements upon public lands with- tax for upkeep in the limits of the town of Rehoboth or vested in said of * town, annually, a special tax sufficient to pay all the expenses of properly keeping up and operating the Water Works System of said town which the rents and revenues derived from said Water Works System may be inadequate to meet; provided that this special tax shall not exceed the sum of one thousand dollars in any one year.

AN ACT to Amend An Act entitled “An Act to Re-incorporate the

Town of Bridgeville", being Chapter 183, Volume 23, Laws of
Delaware.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met, (two-thirds of each branch of the Legislature concurring therein):

Sec. 5, Chap. 183, Vol. 23 amended

Section 1. That Chapter 183, Volume 23, Laws of Delaware be and the same is hereby amended by striking out the words, “three hundred” in the forty-ninth line of the fifth section and inserting in lieu thereof the words “four hundred”.

AN ACT to amend an Act entitled, "An Act to reincorporate the

Town of Laurel," being Chapter 214, Volume 24, Laws of
Delaware.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met, (two-thirds of all the members elected to each House thereof concurring therein.) :

Section 1. That Chapter 214, Volume 24, Laws of Del-Sec. 8; Chap. aware, entitled, “An Act to reincorporate the Town of amended Laurel” is hereby amended by striking out Section 8 of said Act and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“Members of the Council shall be elected by the qual- Election of ified voters of said Town, their terms of office shall begin Council on the first day of April, next succeeding their election and shall be for a term of two years. At the first town election to be held under the provisions of this Act* there shall be elected five members of Council, three of whom shall be from the three Wards respectively and two Terms of memshall be elected from the Town at large.** The two to and members be chosen at large at the next election shall be chosen for wards one year only and at the expiration of that term their successors shall be chosen biennially, and one person shall be chosen as a member of the Council by the qualified voters in each of the three Wards described and defined in Section 2 of this Act for the term of two years.
